Project Director/ Lead Researcher – Jeanette Bain-Burnett

Jeanette Bain-Burnett works in the fields of cultural and social policy. Her background is in dance management with a specialism in diversity and equality. From 2007-2014, she was Director of the Association of Dance of the African Diaspora (ADAD).

Jeanette currently splits her time between developing social policy for the Mayor of London, looking after two energetic children, and managing a portfolio of freelance arts, heritage and culture projects. Her recent clients have included Arts Council England, BBC and the Greater London Authority. Jeanette is an experienced trainer and lecturer, having taught Arts Management and Cultural Studies at Middlesex University and the University of East London. She is a Clore Fellow (2014-15) and an associate researcher at De Montfort University in Leicester.
